1. When we first moved to this area it was raining and it rained a lot more. This was home for me and Richard Schmitz (from Chicago) for the first 8 days we were there. (Date December 1967)

6. This was the view looking west out the front of my new home. The grass, bushes and trees out there got to be a problem after awhile, especially at night. The distant hill was receiving some artillery rounds. (Date December 1967)
