Below you will see three versions of the after action reports. The original version is just the way I received it with no changes.

The cleaned version is a copy of the original version with all the stray marks, smudges, etc removed. I found some pages in the originals that were up-side-down. That was corrected on the clean version.

On the restored version I converted the oringinal PDF pages to Microsoft Word so I could replace any weak or hard to read letters, words and sometimes a string of words. I tried to be careful but there is a chance I may have typed in something wrong. If you see something that doesn't look or sound right you can compare it against the original PDF document. I then converted the repaired Microsoft Word pages back to PDF format. If you find any mistakes please let me know so I can fix the errors.

This document discusses the movement by sea of the 39th Engineer Battalion with Companies A, B and C from Cam Ranh Bay to Tuy Hoa. Included are discussions concerning some of the problems associated with using the local people to do some of the labor.

This document discusses what the 39th Engineer Battalion with Companies A, B and C were doing during this time period. Company D didn't arive in Vietnam till early February 1967. These companies were involved with the contruction of the port facility at Vung Ro Bay which would be named Port Lane. There is also a discussion about our mine detectors and why these dectors are having trouble finding some road mines.

After Action Report of Operation Geronimo I - Adams (first phase)

Mission: Battalion provides combat support for FWMF in area; clears route 7B from TUY HOA to CUNG SON and keeps road open; upgrades QL #l to Class 50 one-way traffic from TUY HOA to TUY AN; upgrades airfield at CUNG SON to take C-123 traffic; clears route 6B from QL #1 to TL 2D. Battalion also constructs POL line extension from HAO SON to TUY HOA South Airfield and POL pumping station (PORT LANE); and executes other construction missions as directed.
